Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Shimmerpool app or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

Shimmerpool provides tools to help you track and manage pool chemistry. The Service is intended for informational and personal use only. All chemical recommendations and calculations are estimates — they are not a substitute for professional advice, product instructions, or your own judgment. Always follow manufacturer guidelines and applicable safety practices when handling pool chemicals.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You own the data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your pool data.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service

No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular feature will remain available. Use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shimmerpool and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice or liability. We may also update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
